Village Plaza has entered into a new six-year contract with XFINITY, effective August 1, 2025, to provide TV & Internet services. These costs are incorporated into the quarterly fees.
Here is a summary of the new services:
The key points in our agreement:
- The contract begins on 8/1/25. That is the first day you can call to request new equipment or an in-home appointment.
- Each VP household is entitled to up to 3 TV connections in the home. (If you have more than 3 TVs you will need to pay extra for the additional ones.
- You can keep your wired connections (and equipment) but you can also upgrade to wireless boxes.
- Unless you pay for 150+ hours of DVR service you will have 20 hours monthly DVR services available to you at no cost. Storage is ‘cloud based.’
- All your TV boxes can now have voice activated remote controls.
- You will be provided with internet services and modem AT NO CHARGE.
- In-home installation of services is FREE until 2/1/26. (after that $100)
You will need to make your own arrangements with Xfinity to provide new service or in-home installation. Please do not call VP board members – you must make arrangements with Xfinity.
